132nd Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Fry, Chicago, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 1, 1864. Moved to Columbus, Ky., June 3. Attached to District of Columbus, Ky., 6th Division, 16th Army Corps, Dept. of the Tennessee, to August, 1864. District of Columbus, Ky., Dept. of the Ohio, to October, 1864.

SERVICE.--Garrison duty at Paducah, Ky., until October. Expedition from Paducah to Hadix Ferry July 25-27. Action near Haddix Ferry July 27. Mustered out October 17, 1864. Regiment lost during service 12 by disease. Total 12.

133rd Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Butler, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days May 31, 1864. Moved to Rock Island Barracks, Ill., June 3, and duty there guarding prisoners of war until September, 1864. Mustered out September 24, 1864.
Regiment lost during service 16 by disease.

134th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Fry, Chicago, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days May 31, 1864. Moved to Columbus, Ky., June 6-8. Attached to District of Columbus, Ky. and Garrison duty at Columbus until October. Mustered out October 5, 1864. Regiment lost during service 1. Officer and 20 Enlisted men by disease. Total 21.

135th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Mattoon, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 6, 1864. Moved to Benton Barracks, Mo., June 10. Assigned to guard duty on Iron Mountain R. R. at the Gasconade and Osage crossings of the Missouri Pacific R. R., and at Jefferson City, Mo. Mustered out September 28, 1864.
Regiment lost 2 Enlisted men killed and 17 Enlisted men by disease during service. Total 19.

136th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Centralia, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 1, 1864. Moved to Cairo, Ill.; thence to Columbus, Ky. Attached to District of Columbus, Ky., Dept. of the Tennessee, to August, 1864, and Department of the Ohio to September, 1864. Assigned to Garrison duty at Columbus, Ky., until September 26. Expedition to Mayfield, Ky., August 12-16. Reenlisted for 15 days' service against Price's Invasion of Missouri, and on duty at various points about St. Louis, Mo., until October 15. Mustered out at Camp Butler, Ill., October 22, 1864.
Regiment lost during service 2 Enlisted men killed and 2 Officers and 40 Enlisted men by disease. Total 44.

137th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Wood, Quincy, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 5, 1864. Ordered to Memphis, Tenn., June 9. Attached to 4th Brigade, District of Memphis, Tenn., District of West Tennessee. Transferred to 3rd Brigade, District of Memphis, July 9. Assigned to guard and picket duty at and about Memphis until September. Repulse of Forrest's attack on Memphis August 21. Mustered out September 4, 1864.
Regiment lost during service 1 Officer and 17 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 Officer and 31 Enlisted men by disease. Total 50.


138th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Wood, Quincy, III., and mustered in for 100 days June 21, 1864. Moved to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, June 26, and duty there until October. (Cos. "C" and "F" at Weston, Mo., July 7 to August 3.) Mustered out October 14, 1864.
Lost 13 by disease during service.

139th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Peoria, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 1, 1864. Moved to St. Louis, Mo., June 8-10; thence to Columbus, Ky. Moved to Cairo, Ill., June 20; and on Garrison duty there until September. Attached to District of Columbus, Ky., Dept. of the Tennessee, to August, and Dept. of the Ohio to September. Moved to Peoria September 25-28. Volunteered for service during Price's Invasion of Missouri and moved to St. Louis. March into Missouri toward Franklin in pursuit of Price, October. Mustered out October 25, 1864.
Lost by disease during service 16.

140th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Butler, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 18, 1864. Moved to Cairo, Ill., thence to Memphis, Tenn., June 18-22. Attached to 3rd Brigade, Memphis, Tenn., District of West Tennessee. March from Memphis to Wolf River and guard R. R. by detachments between Wolf River and Holly Springs, Miss., until August. Action at Lafayette June 26 and August 8. Moved to Memphis, Tenn., and Post duty there until October. Repulse of Forrest's attack on Memphis August 21. Near Memphis August 25. Ordered to Camp Fry, Chicago, Ill. Mustered out October 29, 1864. (Volunteered for the defense of Missouri during Price's Invasion.)

141st Regiment Infantry


Organized at Elgin, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 16, 1864. Moved to Columbus, Ky., and Garrison duty in that District until October. Mustered out October 10, 1864.

143rd Regiment Infantry

147th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Fry, Chicago, Ill., for 1 year February 18, 1865. Moved to Louisville, Ky., thence to Nashville, Tenn., February 21-25, and to Chattanooga, Tenn., and Dalton, Ga., February 27-28. Attached to 1st Brigade, 2nd Separate Division, District of the Etowah, Dept. of the Cumberland, to July, 1865. Dept. of Georgia to January, 1866.

SERVICE.--Duty at Dalton, Ga., and operating against guerrillas until May 1, 1865. Expedition to Mill Creek March 14-16. Action near Dalton March 14. Expedition to Spring Place March 20-22, and to Ringgold March 28-29. Moved to Resaca May 1-2, thence to Calhoun June 26, to Dalton July 2-3. To Marietta, Macon and Albany July 27-31. Duty there and at Americus and Smithville until November. Moved to Macon and Hawkinsville November 4-6, thence to Savannah November 25-December 3. (Cos. "F" and "I" at Hawkinsville until November 28. Joined Regiment at Savannah December 5.) Duty at Savannah until January 23, 1866. Mustered out January 20, 1866. Moved to Springfield, Ill., January 23-31. Discharged February 8, 1866.

148th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Butler, Ill., and mustered in February 21, 1865. R. to April, 1865. 2nd Brigade, 1st Sub-District, District of Middle Tennessee, Dept. of the Cumberland, to June, 1865. 3rd Brigade, 1st Sub-District, District of Middle Tennessee, to September, 1865.

SERVICE.--Duty at Tullahoma, Tenn., until June 18, 1865; then distributed 5 Companies at Decherd, 1 Company at McMinnville and 4 Companies guarding Nashville & Chattanooga R. R. from Lombardy to Anderson's Station until September. Mustered out at Nashville, Tenn., September 5, 1865.
Regiment lost during service 2 Enlisted men killed and 1 Officer and 70 Enlisted men by disease. Total 73.

149th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Butler, Ill., and mustered in for 1 year February 11, 1865. Moved to Nashville, Tenn., February 14-17, 1865; thence to Chattanooga, Tenn. Attached to 2nd Brigade, 2nd Separate Division, District of the Etowah, Dept. of the Cumberland, to July, 1865. Dept. of Georgia to January, 1866.

SERVICE.--Provost Guard duty at Chattanooga, Tenn., and guarding R. R. until May 2. Moved to Dalton, Ga., May 2; thence to Atlanta, Ga., July 6. Guard duty in 4th Sub-District, District of Allatoona, until January, 1866. Mustered out January 27, 1866.

150th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Butler, Ill., and mustered in for 1 year's service February 14, 1865. Moved to Bridgeport, Ala., February 18-27, 1865. Attached to 2nd Brigade, 2nd Separate Division, District of the Etowah, Dept. of the Cumberland, to July, 1865. Dept. of Georgia to January, 1866.

SERVICE.--Garrison duty at Bridgeport, Ala., at Forts 3 and 4 and Block Houses on Nashville & Chattanooga R. R. from Bridgeport, Ala., to Chattanooga, Tenn., until March 24, 1865. Moved to Cleveland, Tenn., March 24-25. To Dalton, Ga., May 2-3, and duty there until July 7. (Left Wing at Spring Place until July 1.) Moved to Atlanta July 7-8, thence to Griffin, Ga., August 14. Duty in 2nd Sub-District, District of Allatoona, until December, 1865. Cos. "A" and "E" at Griffin. Co. "D" at LaGrange, Co. "C" at West Point, Co. "F" at Newnan, Cos. "B" and "G" at Atlanta, "Co. 151st Regiment Infantry


Organized at Quincy, Ill., and mustered in for 1 year's service February 23, 1865. Moved to Springfield, Ill.; thence to Nashville, Murfreesboro and Chattanooga, Tenn., and Dalton, Ga., February 23-March 13, 1865. Attached to 1st Brigade, 2nd Separate Division, District of the Etowah, Dept. of the Cumberland, to July, 1865. Dept. of Georgia to January, 1866.

SERVICE.--Duty at Dalton, Ga., until May 2, 1865. Moved to Resaca, Calhoun and Kingston, Ga., May 2-12. Surrender of Warford May 13-14-15. At Kingston, Ga., until July 28. Detachments at Adairsville, Rome and Cartersville. Moved to Columbus, Ga., July 28-31, and duty there until January, 1866. Mustered out January 24, 1866. Discharged February 8, 1866. Regiment lost during service by disease 51.


152nd Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Butler, Ill., and mustered in for 1 year February 18, 1865. Moved to Nashville, Tenn.; thence to Tullahoma, Tenn., February 20-28, 1865. Attached to 2nd Brigade, Defenses Nashville & Chattanooga R. R., Dept. of the Cumberland, to April, 1865. 2nd Brigade, 1st Sub-District, District of Middle Tennessee, to July, 1865. 1st Infantry Brigade, District of West Tennessee, to September, 1865.

SERVICE.--Assigned to duty as railroad guard on the Nashville & Chattanooga R. R. until July, 1865. Moved to Memphis, Tenn., and duty there until September. Mustered out September 9, 1865.

153rd Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Fry, Chicago, Ill., and mustered in for 1 year February 27, 1865. Moved to Nashville, Tenn.; thence to Tullahoma, Tenn., March 4-10. R., Dept. of the Cumberland, to April, 1865. 2nd Brigade, 1st Sub-District, District of Middle Tennessee, to July, 1865. 1st Infantry Brigade, District of West Tennessee, to September, 1865.

SERVICE.--Assigned to guard duty on Nashville & Chattanooga R. R. until July, 1865. Moved to Memphis, Tenn., July 1, and duty there until September. Mustered out September 15, 1865, and discharged September 24, 1865.

154th Regiment Infantry

155th Regiment Infantry


Organized at Camp Butler and mustered in February 28, 1865. Moved to Louisville, Ky.; thence to Nashville and Tullahoma, Tenn., March 2-10, 1865. 156th Regiment Infantry


Organized February 16, 1865. Moved to Nashville, Tenn., and attached to 3rd Brigade, 2nd Separate Division, District of the Etowah, Department of the Cumberland.

SERVICE.--Engaged in guarding R. R. and Post duty in Department of the Cumberland until September. Mustered out September 20, 1865. Regiment lost during service 2 Enlisted men killed and 24 Enlisted men by disease. Total 26.
